The Highlights

Equine had a successful drop with over 14,000 bundles purchased worth $4.3 million at today's ADA prices. Besides a relatively small error in the horse skin images, the drop was smooth and people generally praised the execution. More on this drop in the Market Analysis section below.

Christmas drops have either landed in people's wallets or are on their way this week. Ugly Bros, Cardano Village and Vudu Brigada already dropped their impressive Christmas editions while Yummi has teased theirs, dropping tomorrow the 21st.

Space Ape Club by Lovelace was one of the highlights from early last week as they sold out their 10k collection within 24 hours.

Boss Cat Rocket Club did not seem to have been affected by the FUD surrounding their project. They sold out yesterday of their 10k drop and the floor price is looking strong. Many people raised serious questions after doing some extensive research about the project but it does not seem to have changed the opinion of the general public.

CNFT.io continues to make improvements to their marketplace and today introduced a seller rating feature, which indicates how often a particular seller has sent vs. canceled. Their own token, which sold out a while back, is currently trading at almost 8x its original price.

Ada Handles sold out their target 5,000 handles within 24 hours despite their throttling and queue systems. The community is generally excited about the project and the utility it brings to the space, although many were not as happy with their drop mechanics. In many cases, after 8+ hours of waiting, buyers missed their 10-minute buying window in the middle of the night.

They also announced a partnership with Pavia to implement their $handle technology in the metaverse.

Pavia dropped their metaverse tokens to holders last week and is listed on the MuesliSwap Dex. The $PAVIA token is currently trading at 0.042 $ADA but PAVIA holders received approx. 8.33k $PAVIA per plot, or 350 ADA. Holders of estates, for example, received a nice Christmas bonus airdrop worth almost $4,000.

NANO Frames are minting at the time of this writing. They have created the first digital frames with seamless integration to a Cardano wallet.

Growing Pains sold out their 4,444 collection in less than 30 minutes today in a smooth drop.

Degen Crypto Club had their final drop, completing their collection with 5,000 3D Degens. The collection was quickly sold out and created significant buzz in the CNFT community.

This Week

CHRISTMAS! As teams take a break for the holidays, new mints will slow down for this upcoming week.

Happy Hoppers Club just went live with their presale at the time of writing but public sale will start tomorrow IF there will be any NFTs available after the presale.

Old Money already announced their bill airdrops to holders but the public sale will start tomorrow, Tuesday at 17UTC. The price is 80 ADA.

Artifct is currently developing a new NFT marketplace but is simultaneously building "Artifct Spaces, a series of worlds in the metaverse to showcase your digital art, to host live events, to explore and connect with others...Using real lunar mapping data, we rendered height maps of the actual lunar surface over hundreds of hours, splitting the result into 5000 unique plots that each represent approximately 1.8M acres of Artifct Moon."

Whitelist registration has just closed but the whitelist sale will open on December 21st at 4PM UTC. If there are any left over of the 5k total moon plots, the public sale will open 48 hours later on the 23rd.

The slow decline has continued, although many speculate that we have found the bottom and are starting to coil up for an exciting new year.

It is still an extreme buyer's market where incredibly good deals can be found for those who are willing and able to bet on the long-term growth of Cardano and CNFTs.

The ArtBeat

Ugly Bros is giving many up-and-coming artists a great opportunity to showcase their talents in their upcoming community drop. The 2k collection will include artwork from 4 smaller community artists, including Lewis (Death Squad), Crypto Scarface, and others. Giving smaller community artists this kind of exposure and opportunity is unprecedented and we can only hope that other prominent projects follow suit.

Aw0ken Algorithms (Cardano Art) announced an exciting breeding mechanism. This update comes as the Aw0k3n policy moves closer to closing on January 19th.

Benjamin's Group announced a partnership with the talented Cycl:R. Members of Benjamin's Group will be able to buy this high-quality cycling collection in the near future.

Wookie Art Diarrhea dropped his highly anticipated collection on the Genesis House platform this past Friday. The drop sold out extremely quickly and many expected that bots managed to buy all of them. Genesis House has disputed these claims but the artist paused the drop with 29 pieces remaining.

Underrated

These are this week's most underrated investment opportunity and artist. This is a highly subjective section so please DYOR.

Investment Opportunity: CardanoBits

Being one of CNFT's true "OGs", CardanoBits feels incredibly undervalued with a floor price of only ₳114, a whopping -50% over the past 60 days. Considering its status and permanent place in the history books, it's relatively safe to say that this project is going nowhere. As the CNFT space matures, new investors from other blockchains will look at blue-chip projects like CardanoBits. Today, we are still seeing too many investors selling their blue-chips to fund the next hot drop.

Artist: Mr. Intangible

Mr. Intangible has been around the space since its beginning. Even though he is most well known for his collaborations with projects such as Angel Baby Hit Squad, Daily Dose, and Cardano Robin, his own work is highly underrated. Currently available on the secondary market for relatively cheap, I believe there is great value in picking up one of his high-quality pieces.

Rugpull Watch

Thankfully, there have been no high-profile confirmed rugs this week. However, many people have speculated about a couple of suspicious projects that are currently operating. Read next week's Weekly CNFT Brew to find out if those speculations had any substance.
